Smartphone makers can tout the capabilities of their mobile cameras all they want, but the fact is, the photographers and videographers at the paper I work for are equipped with iPhones, by choice.

What fascinated me, and what I thought would give the story weight, is the fact that these are not the most technical folks when it some to mobile tech, but the most creative band of brothers I have ever met. They are not shills, but they choose to use the iPhone.

The results are mobile photos that have been featured on our front page and mobile videos that has gone viral. But no one knew they were taken using an iPhone. We were denied from giving the credit.
