It took me almost 10 years to start this blog. Nearly a decade of wanting for journalistic freedom, made manifest. To finally tell the stories I want, the way I want to. It should have been an easy decision.

I admit that this exercise in self-indulgence is intimidating. It is a privilege that I must grow into. Like any journey, it is the first steps that are most daunting. It is the undertaking that is most rewarding.

Frustration for the lack of separation between marketing and editorial led me here. Weak leadership pushed me over the edge. I hope the experience will keep me sane.
