This was a fun story to do. The interview was conducted over text and voicemail, and it was his idea to do it that way. It was brilliant, perfect for interviewing people who are busy.

The most memorable part of the whole thing, however, is how sincere his answers were. This is someone who has given a lot of thought about a lot of things. This is a true comedian, not just a funny man, but someone who can perceive many perspectives and put his heart behind it.

He answered the questions in Bahasa and I had a heck of a time transcribing it into English. And for the first time in a while, I didn’t feel bored or tired doing it.
