The thing about this story is that it is not about an all ladies animation studio. Instead, it is about a group of friends who took an idea, ran with it, and with encouragement, turned it into the internationally recognised Poggo Animation Sdn Bhd.

It is a story about how powerful a support system can be.

It took me a month or so to get enough information from the representatives at the studio to do the story. There were weeks between emails sometimes. The members of Poggo Animation were a busy bunch and the pandemic didn’t help either.

Nevertheless, animation studios are in a good position during the pandemic as that can still produce while working at home.
