For LEGO, releasing Technic supercar premium sets has become a habit and every time it just gets more outrageous. This year, the 1:8 scale LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 takes centre stage. But, be prepared to pay more than the price of a PlayStation 4 Pro 1TB for one of these.
If you’re like me and haven’t heard of a Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 before, it is probably because it was first shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2019. Only 63 of the full-sized things are being made.
LEGO, on the other hand, is planning to make a lot more of its lime-green 3,696-piece replica.

According to them, once completed, the model measures 13cm by 60cm by 25cm. That’s height, length, and width, respectively. It features a pop-up rear spoiler, front and rear suspension, and steering. “Under the hood” is a replica of the car’s signature V12 engine, a (LEGO model) overnight bag, and a unique serial number that unlocks special content online.
To help with the hours and hours needed to put the 3,696 pieces together, LEGO included 13 videocasts accessible via QR codes in the two included booklets that came in the box. Unless each episode is at least an hour-long, I suggest building the set in front of a TV and get a Netflix subscription, if you don’t have one.
To promote the launch (changed from a common turn of phrase), all purchases of the LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 in Malaysia will receive a mini build of LEGO Lamborghini as a gift with purchase, while stocks last.
There will also be a lucky draw (updated from “contest”) with each purchase of the LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 in Malaysia between 1 and 21 June 2020 where 10 winners will receive exclusive Lamborghini merchandise.

The LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 will be available directly from LEGO Certified Stores and LEGOLAND in Malaysia from 1 June, followed by other retailers on 1 August. The price? RMRM1,599.90.
