If you’ve been reading my human interest stories in the paper regularly, and you should get help if you do, you would have noticed a pattern. I do a lot of stories about the folks from the Malaysia Pro Wrestling (MyPW).

There are two main reasons for this:

First, they are a talented and diverse bunch of people who got together because of shared interest, and each and every one of them deserves their story to be told. They are a great source for stories but are not as celebrated as they should be. I hope others would look at them the same.

Second, if editorial keeps pushing a writer for quantity, they will go to the same well over and over again. But I still got pride in my work, so going back to the MyPW talents, I feel, is a win-win situation.
