Acer’s first Qualcomm powered Chromebook

Acer recently announced two convertible Chromebooks built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c platform. Because of this both the Acer Chromebook Spin 513 and the Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 513 has smartphone-like features such as optional 4G LTE connectivity.

They are both thin, are fitted with 13.3in full HD IPS touchscreen display, and are designed with features for their respective target market, the consumer and the enterprise.

Additionally, Acer also announced the more traditional 10th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 processor-powered Chromebook CXI4 and Chromebox Enterprise CXI4.

All Chromebooks announced are compatible with Android apps, of course.

Finally, Acer also announced the Halo Smart Speaker, one of the first Google Assistant compatible smart speakers with DTS Sound.

All items mentioned are scheduled to be available by the first quarter of 2021.
