LEGO NINJAGO: New Sets And Show Season Coming In June

The adventures of Master Wu and the ninja Kai, Cole, Zane, Jay, Lloyd and Nya continues in toy and animated series starting this June, says LEGO.

Some of the news sets to look forward to are the 71749 LEGO NINJAGO Final Flight of Destiny’s Bounty, 71754 LEGO NINJAGO Water Dragon, 71755 LEGO NINJAGO Temple of the Endless Sea, and 71756 LEGO NINJAGO Hydro Bounty.

To learn what the story is with all these new sets, you got to watch Season 3 of the LEGO Ninjago TV series.

The Two Parts

There are two parts to the story:

The first is a four-episode prologue titled The Abyss and the Flood. It is available on Cartoon Network on 2021 June 12 at 12pm and 6pm, or catch them on LEGO YouTube page from 2021 June 18.

The second is a 16-episode story titled The Island. It is told in 11-minute chunks and premieres on Netflix on 2021 July 1.

LEGO says that these episodes will also premier on Cartoon Network (Astro 635) and YouTube simultaneously on 2021 July 17.

You could also catch all of NINJAGO past seasons on Netflix. It is a good show.  In fact, every LEGO show on Netflix is a fun watch.

The Quote

‘’It has been an amazing journey to see a product range turn into something that kids have enjoyed for 10 years,” says Michael Svane Knap, Design Manager at the LEGO Group, who has been working on the LEGO NINJAGO product line since 2013.

“Some have grown up with LEGO NINJAGO and are now expressing their gratitude and telling us how they have learned lifelong skills. In my opinion, that is the best thing about LEGO NINJAGO. Kids learn about friendship, confidence and much more… And of course, that ninjas are cool!”.

A special website (Ninjago.com) will also be launched on 2021 June 1 to invite children and fans of NINJAGO to experience the journey of mastery through a series of missions and content.

My Thoughts

Things are looking good for NINJAGO, not so much for that Monkie Kid. But, I have to admit, those new spider themed villains set from Monkie Kid looks good. Can’t wait to see them in the bargain bins.
