Apple introduced Meet with Apple Experts on Wednesday (27 September) as a new global resource for the Apple developer community.

Meet with Apple Experts provides developers with sessions, workshops, labs, one-on-one consultations, and more. It builds on the Ask Apple, Meet with App Store Experts, and Tech Talks informational series

Developers can sign up for sessions around developing apps and games for iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, and visionOS, as well as how to optimise them for the latest hardware.

To further help developers, Apple provides a suite of accessible technologies and frameworks, such as SDKs and APIs, for all of their devices.

To help developers make money, there are programs and features like the App Store Small Business Program, pricing enhancements, and more.

The App Store connects businesses of all sizes with over 650 million people across 175 regions and storefronts each week

In 2002, developers generated 1.1 trillion USD in total billings and sales in the App Store ecosystem, more than 90% of which accrued solely to developers, without any commission paid to Apple.

Apple is doing all they can to attract more developers to their platform. It is an attractive platform to develop for. It’s easier, has a lot of support, and its prevalent in rich markets. However, in places like Malaysia, the biggest obstacle is adoption.
