Tsuburaya Productions Company Limited (Tsuburaya) says it will bring the upcoming Ultraman Card Game to Anime Fiesta Asia Singapore 23 (AFA23) at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre from Nov 24 to 26.

The company says that along with a test play session for the Ultraman Card Game, there would be a live Ultraman stage show, Gamora figure decoration activity, and a presentation introducing Tsuburaya’s business plan for retailers on Nov 23.

The Ultraman Card Game is said to launch in Japan, North America and all around Asia in the summer of 2024. Tsuburaya states a special PR card will be distributed when it launches.

Ultraman Card Game is not the only active Ultraman-themed collectable card game. In a post, Tsuburaga said that in China, Ultraman-themed collectable card games created by Zhejiang Kayou Animation Co., Ltd. (Kayou) have become popular and made Kayou the top brand in the country.

To get a slice of the collectable card game market that is projected to be USD11.6 billion by the end of 2030, “Tsuburaya Productions is motivated to achieve further growth for the Ultraman franchise by entering into the promising trading card game market fully supported by Kayou”.

It added that Super Heroes Ultraman X-File and Ultraman Hero Battle, currently available in China, will continue to be sold.
