LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort Hotel — Day 3 — Nostalgia Raya

It was my last day at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort Hotel. After a hearty buffet breakfast at the Bricks Family Restaurant and checking out of the hotel, it was time to enter the main attraction, the LEGOLAND Theme Park.

This season, the entrance has been transformed into a Kampung (Malay village) scene for the Nostalgia Raya event. The Malaysian-themed celebration featured traditional games, crafts, and LEGO builds that guests can try.

It was an excellent effort by the folks at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort to add more local culture to the theme park. I hope they will do more of these unique local-themed activities.

Before the crowd came in, I tried my hands at assembling a LEGO brick-built ketupat.

The folks at the booth told me that the biggest crowd they had recently was on the first day of Eid ul Fitr. They said the guests were mainly from Singapura. The crowd on this day was smaller than I expected on a Sunday.

With a long drive home to look forward to later, I took a photo of Ollie the Dragon in its Raya best and headed into the rest of the park. The Big Shop (the largest LEGO shop in the park) was still closed, so I headed for the Miniland.

This is one of the many posts I plan to make about my experience at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort Hotel. I stayed there for two nights, from 2024-04-19 to 2024-04-21.
