On 9 September 2024, The Haven Resort announced that it partnered with TUI BLUE, an international hotel chain.
With the announcement, the resort would be known as TUI BLUE The Haven Ipoh and the first TUI BLUE hotel in Malaysia.
According to the statement, with the collaboration, TUI BLUE The Haven Ipoh guests can expect refreshed accommodations, improved amenities, and exclusive experiences.
The announcement was attended by The Haven CEO Peter Chan, TUI BLUE CEO Artur Gerber, The Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MGCC) Executive Director Jan Moether, and Ipoh Mayor, Datuk Rumazi Baharin.
The Haven Ipoh was known as the ‘all suites resort’ that’s surrounded by virgin forest, with a beautiful view of limestone hills and features a lake at its centre
TUI BLUE is a part of the TUI group, which was established in 1968 when several German tour operators joined forces to form Touristik Union International.
Their website shows TUI BLUE operates hotels and resorts in 19 countries worldwide. The first was in Turkiye. Malaysia is the 20th country to join the list.
