What Legoland Malaysia Resort Has Planned For 2024 Holiday Season

Legoland Malaysia Resort will host several season-exclusive activities from 15 November 2024 to 5 January 2025 during its Brick-Tacular Holidays! Campaign

Build To Give

Legoland Malaysia guests could join the Build to Give workshop and build a Lego Heart during the camping. Lego promises to donate a Lego set to a child in need for each Lego Heart shared online with the #BuildtoGive tag. This is done in collaboration with all 10 Legoland Resorts and 29 Legoland Discovery Centres worldwide.

According to Lego, this campaign has been going on since 2017, and you can participate from home. Just build a heat shape out of Lego and tag it.

Lego noted that children under 16 must obtain their parent’s permission to post on social media. Lego donates 1,500,000 sets worth a total of 15,000,000 USD in 25 countries. That’s a lot.

Master Builder Workshop

Malaysia’s first-ever Master Model Builder, Zariq Mohd Ali, will hold workshops to teach Lego tips, tricks, and techniques. He was the result of a recent nationwide Master Builder hunt.

I do not know what makes him Malaysia’s first-ever Master Model Builder. I am sure that not all Legoland Malaysia Miniland builds are designed and built by foreigners. We may get more localised sets now?

Daily Themed Shows

During the campaign, Legoland Malaysia will host five daily shows, an additional magic show on weekends, and a limited-time parade near Christmas.

The daily shows are: Season of Giving Kickoff (at opening time), Ollie’s Holiday Groove, Wizard’s Festive Tune (sing-along), Elves vs Toy Soldier (dance battle), and Farewell Finale (at closing time).

The Brick-tacular Illusion Show will be held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 15 to 31 December, while the Brick-tacular Parade will be from 21 to 25 December.

Holiday Builds, Speed Build, and a Hunt

Decorate a Lego Holiday Cupcake or design a Lego Christmas tree ornament.

There’s also a candy cane speed build challenge. To win a special Christmas Token, look for eight hidden snowmen in the Miniland and uncover their secret name.

Prizes, Limited Editions, and Meet & Greet

There will also be a lucky draw daily for those who send RM150 or more in a single receipt. The prize pool is worth RM50,000 and includes Lego merchandise, hotel vouchers, flight ticket vouchers, and more.

New Minifigures are also available at Legoland Malaysia, and they can be traded for new limited (1,000) edition holiday character Minifigures.

Last but not least, visitors can see the mascots Lego Santa, The Wizard, Toy Soldier, and Ollie the Dragon.
