Nutella Is Trying Hard With Minimum Effort

Have you noticed that large tubs of Nutella have become much easier to find on store shelves recently? I have even spotted those multi-kilo tubs used for food services for sale. 

To expand their marketing, Ferrero, the maker of the sweetened hazelnut cocoa spread that’s mostly sugar and palm oil, released Ramadan-themed 680g jars of Nutella. 

It was the same glass jar, just with a different on the shirk wrap.

They could have done more, like moulding a different-shaped jar or promoting different uses of their glass jar. They could have also released a squeeze bottle or tube version of Nutella.
