Ever since it opened at GMBB Bukit Bintang, Akari Store has become my favourite art toy shop. I enjoy the retro atmosphere, the cosy layout, and the eclectic selection of soft vinyl figures on sale. 

Independent local and foreign artists create most pieces, all friends of the local art community. 

The prices are fair for the quality and uniquenes of each piece, they are works of art after all. Better value than most toys at the toy store, too. 

The shop opens from 12 pm to 7 pm and closes on Mondays. Bring a camera, the shop is very photogenic.
