Pokémon Pokopia Launches on Nintendo Switch 2 with Mobile Truck Tour in Malaysia

The Pokémon Company announced that Pokémon Pokopia, a new life simulation game for the Nintendo Switch 2, will release on March 5, 2026.

The game, developed by Game Freak and Koei Tecmo, lets players take on the role of a transformed Ditto to build and shape a world alongside Pokémon through crafting, farming, building homes, and other relaxed activities.

It supports single-player mode and up to four players via local or online connections.

The title is available in physical and digital versions, with support for multiple languages including English.

To mark the launch in Malaysia, a promotional Pokémon Truck—an LED-equipped pop-up vehicle converted into an interactive gaming space—will tour the Klang Valley from March 5 to June 4, 2026.

The truck features four Nintendo Switch 2 stations for playing the game, with staff assistance available.

The tour includes outdoor areas with a photo zone, colouring activities for children, and occasional Pikachu mascot appearances.

Visitors will receive Pokémon-themed sun visors while supplies last.

The truck will visit various locations, primarily anchoring at malls on weekends (Friday to Sunday) from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and circulating in city areas on weekdays (Tuesday to Thursday). Confirmed early stops include:

March 6–8: Sunway Pyramid
March 13–15: The Exchange TRX
March 20–22: Pavilion Bukit Jalil
March 27–29: Elmina Lakeside Mall

Additional dates and venues from April onward will be announced later. Schedules and locations may change; updates are available on the official Facebook page.

Early physical copy purchasers in Malaysia will receive a Ditto Smartphone Cleaner Keychain (featuring Pikachu and Ditto charms) while stocks last. The game requires a Nintendo Switch 2 console to play.
