Tencent Cloud unveiled new AI tools for gaming at the 2026 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.
The company introduced updates to its Game Multimedia Engagement Solution, now including GVoice. This tool uses AI to boost in-game voice chat with clearer sound, speech recognition, voice-changing effects, and instant translation for players who speak different languages.
Tencent Cloud also launched new AI security tools. The EdgeOne platform protects against attacks and threats, while the Anti-Cheat Expert system uses AI to catch cheaters as they play.
The company also showed its HY 3D AI engine, which quickly creates 3D models from text, images, or sketches. Partners like Maxon and companies such as 3D AI Studio and CGTrader are starting to use it.
