Huawei Malaysia has launched its latest smartphone, the Mate 80 Pro, in Kuala Lumpur. 

The new phone features an improved camera system with three cameras: a 50MP main camera, a 48MP telephoto lens with 4x zoom, and a 40MP ultra-wide lens.

The device also uses artificial intelligence to edit photos.

The Mate 80 Pro features stronger glass and water- and dust-resistance. It comes in Gold, Green, and Black.

It can be pre-ordered for RM3,999 and comes with gratuity gifts.

At the same time, Huawei announced the FreeBuds Pro 5 earbuds, the Watch Ultimate 2 in Green, and the FreeClip 2 earbuds in Rose Gold. Prices for these devices range from RM699 to RM3,999.

Huawei also announced the “See, Truly Malaysia” photography campaign with Tourism Malaysia. In addition, the XMAGE Awards 2026 photo contest will run from March to August.
