Pavilion REIT Malls held a communal iftar event on 11 March at the Piazza, Level 3, Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
More than 800 guests attended, including children and residents from welfare homes and local communities in Bukit Jalil. The event was organised with support from Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM) Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.
Participating groups included children from Sekolah Tunas Bakti Sungai Besi, Rumah Kanak-Kanak Tengku Budriah, Asrama Sentosa Kuala Lumpur, and Asrama Bahagia Kuala Lumpur, as well as residents from Pusat Jagaan Kasih Murni, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Asnaf Al Barakh Malaysia, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ar Rahmaniah, Keluarga Besar Norlina Alawi Bhd, Komuniti Sri Rakyat Bukit Jalil, and Komuniti PPR Pinggiran Bukit Jalil.
Guests broke their fast together and took part in activities such as a batik painting workshop by UCSI University, games by Watsons, and appearances by characters BoBoiBoy and Papa Zola. Cultural performances featured Ghazali music and Orkes Melayu by KBS Band and Melody Buskers.
More than 25 tenants and brands provided food and refreshments, including Beauty, Chongdee, Christine’s Bakery, Delicieux, Coffee & Food, D’Laksa, Empire Sushi, Food Republic, Grandma’s, Hanare, Happy Potato, Horlicks India Gate, Inside Scoop, Julie’s, Krispy Kreme, Doughnuts, Mee Haris China Muslim, Milo Mixue Muji, Oriental Kopi, Snickers, Starbucks, Toy World, Twix, UCSI University Uncle Soon, Verona Hills Bread & Pastries, Watson, and Yam Fresh.
