ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced three new 27-inch gaming monitors on March 11: the Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen2, XG27ACDMS, and XG27AQDMES.
All three monitors have a QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) and use OLED technology for improved colour and contrast. The XG27AQDMG Gen2 features a glossy WOLED panel and a 240Hz refresh rate. The XG27ACDMS and XG27AQDMES use QD-OLED panels, with the XG27ACDMS offering a higher 280Hz refresh rate and the XG27AQDMES featuring a semi-glossy finish and a 240Hz refresh rate.
Key features include fast 0.03ms response times for smoother motion, adaptive sync support for reduced screen tearing, and various brightness levels: up to 1300 nits for the XG27AQDMG Gen2, 1000 nits for the XG27ACDMS, and 400 nits for the XG27AQDMES.
The monitors come with features to help prevent OLED burn-in, such as an automatic dimming sensor. They also include adjustable stands and multiple connectivity options like DisplayPort, HDMI 2.1, and USB ports.
Prices start at $599 for the XG27AQDMES, $649 for the XG27AQDMG Gen2, and $699 for the XG27ACDMS.
