Marriott International to Manage Kapalua Bay Resort in Hawaii

Marriott International signed an agreement with Kemmons Wilson Hospitality Partners to manage The Resort at Kapalua Bay on Maui’s northwest coast.

Marriott will operate the hotel during renovations and plans to rebrand it as a St. Regis hotel in 2027.
The Resort at Kapalua Bay covers about 25 acres and has 146 multi-bedroom, ocean-view residences.

Amenities at the resort include:

Residential-style accommodations range from 1,774 to over 4,050 square feet, overlooking gardens and the ocean.

Access to golf courses and tennis courts.

A 40,000-square-foot spa with 19 treatment rooms and ocean-view wellness facilities.

Indoor meeting space (3,415 sq. ft.) and outdoor event space (30,210 sq. ft.).

Direct access to Kapalua Bay Beach.

Several outdoor pools, including a multi-tiered lagoon pool.

Marriott now manages about 30 properties in Hawai’i, with six more planned.
