ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) launches the 2026 ROG Strix G16 and Strix G18 gaming laptops on March 17.
Both models are powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and offer configuration options of up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics chip.
The G16 features a 16-inch 2560×1600 display with a 300Hz refresh rate, while the G18 boasts an 18-inch 2560×1600 display, a 240Hz refresh rate, and Mini LED backlighting for enhanced visuals.
Both laptops support up to 64GB of DDR5 memory, up to 2TB of storage, Wi-Fi 7, a 90Wh battery, and tool-free upgrades for RAM and storage. The G16 weighs 2.7kg, while the G18 weighs 3.5kg.
The flagship ROG Strix SCAR 18 is set to launch in the second quarter of 2026, supporting up to an RTX 5090 graphics chip and increased power limits.
