ASUS has announced the ExpertCenter PN55, a compact desktop computer featuring the new AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors, on March 18.
The system is designed for office work, content creation, and retail environments with limited space.
The PN55 is powered by up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 chip, which includes a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of 55 trillion operations per second (TOPS) to handle local artificial intelligence tasks.
- Integrated AMD Radeon 800M-series graphics support up to 4 4K displays simultaneously.
- The system supports up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM and includes two NVMe SSD slots.
- The chassis includes dual 2.5G LAN ports, WiFi 7, and six USB ports, including one USB4 port that supports Power Delivery and DisplayPort.
Measuring 130 x 130 x 34mm and weighing 0.6kg, the aluminium chassis is VESA-mountable for attachment to the back of monitors. For maintenance, the device features a tool-less design for accessing internal components.
Security features include a physical fingerprint sensor for biometric login and a firmware-based TPM 2.0 for data protection. ASUS states the unit is tested to MIL-STD-810H standards for durability in various environments.
