The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has received the “Best in Show” award at the 2026 Global Mobile Awards (GLOMO Awards) during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on March 19.

The award, determined by a panel of over 200 independent analysts and journalists, recognises products that set industry benchmarks. Judges highlighted the device’s integration of hardware and its One UI 8.5 software.

Key technical features noted during the ceremony included a new Privacy Display, which limits visibility to the primary user; an updated chipset, featuring a customized processor designed to handle automated software tasks more efficiently; and adaptive software, which utilizes context-aware automation to manage daily tasks.

Shaun Collins, chair of the judging panel, stated that the device was selected for its practical application of security and privacy innovations. The Galaxy S26 Ultra was chosen from a field of more than 3,000 exhibitors.
