ASUS has announced the ExpertBook P5 G1, a new line of business laptops available in 14-inch and 16-inch models.

The laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra 5 or 7 processors and can be configured with up to 96GB of DDR5 memory. Storage options include dual SSD slots with a total capacity of up to 6 TB.

Display options for both sizes include WUXGA (1920 x 1200) or WQXGA (2560 x 1600) resolution IPS panels, with an OLED variant also available . The 14-inch model starts at 1.29 kg, while the 16-inch version starts at 1.6 kg. Both models can be equipped with either a 50Wh or 70Wh battery.

For connectivity, the devices include Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and an RJ45 Ethernet port. Wireless options include support for the WiFi 7 standard. Security features include a dedicated webcam privacy shield and a BIOS that meets NIST SP 800-155 standards.
