Lenovo announced a global partnership with David Beckham on March 31 to develop AI-driven solutions for the sports industry.
The collaboration focuses on integrating artificial intelligence into football operations to enhance team performance, streamline club logistics, and create new revenue streams.
This partnership aligns with Lenovo’s existing role as the Official Technology Partner for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027. Beckham is slated to participate in the development of these technical solutions and will lead a global marketing campaign scheduled to launch in May 2026, just ahead of the men’s World Cup.
According to Lenovo CEO Yuanqing Yang and Beckham, the initiative aims to leverage data and AI to deepen understanding of the sport among coaches, players, and fans.
