ASUS announced the UGen300, a portable device that adds artificial intelligence processing to existing computers.
It connects via USB-C and lets devices run complex AI models locally, rather than relying on cloud services.
The unit features a Hailo-10H processor and 8GB of dedicated memory, enabling it to handle tasks such as text generation and real-time data analysis without burdening the host computer’s main resources.
It supports Windows, Linux, Android, and popular machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
The device measures 105 x 50 x 18mm and operates at 2.5 watts.
It is currently available to some professional users, with full Windows software support expected by mid-May 2026.
