Xiaomi launched the REDMI A7 Pro, the first “Pro” model in its REDMI A series. The entry-level smartphone starts at 119 USD.

Hardware and Display
The device has a 6.9-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 800 nits. It includes “Wet Touch Technology 2.0,” allowing the screen to respond to damp or oily fingers. The phone is 8.15mm thick and features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and Near Field Communication (NFC).

Battery and Performance
The phone has a 6Ah battery. Xiaomi states it retains 80% capacity after 1,000 charge cycles.

Software and Camera
The REDMI A7 Pro is the first in its series to run Xiaomi HyperOS 3. The software features Google Gemini, Circle to Search, and Xiaomi HyperIsland for multitasking.
