ASUS announced the ProArt Router PRT-BE5000 and the ProArt Switch PQG-U1080 in Taipei, Taiwan, on April 7. 

The PRT-BE5000 router supports dual-band WiFi 7. It also has two 2.5-gigabit-per-second ports and three 1-gigabit-per-second ports.

The PQG-U1080 switch has eight 2.5-gigabit-per-second RJ45 (standard networking) ports and two 10-gigabit-per-second SFP+ fibre ports. It has a switching capacity of 80 gigabits per second and supports multiple mounting options.

Both devices feature a minimalist design. 

The router is managed via a dedicated control centre user interface.
