OPPO Malaysia and Fire Department Launch Learning Centre

OPPO Malaysia and the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia opened the Community Fire Learning Centre at Balai Bomba Sri Hartamas on April 7.

The facility is designed to provide fire safety education and digital learning resources for children.

The centre features digital facilities intended to improve public awareness and emergency preparedness.

As part of the initiative, OPPO contributed 12 tablets and two smartphones to support interactive educational activities.

Members of the Reno Guru-Guru program led the initial learning sessions for students during the opening event.

This project is the latest development in a partnership that began in 2025.

Previous collaborations included a RM100,000 donation to the Fire and Rescue Department’s sports and welfare council and the launch of commemorative product campaigns.

According to the Chief Marketing Officer of OPPO Malaysia, Monica Chin, the centre aims to create a community-focused space for safety education. Department Director-General Datuk Seri Nor Hisham Mohammad stated that the program uses interactive experiences to engage the public.
