Samsung Expands One UI 8.5 Beta to More Galaxy Devices

Samsung announced on April 9, that it is expanding its One UI 8.5 beta program to more Galaxy devices in India, Korea, the U.K., and the U.S. The rollout includes the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy S23 FE, and the Galaxy A36 5G.

The update introduces AirDrop support through Quick Share for select devices. This feature allows for file sharing between Galaxy devices and iPhone, iPad, or macOS hardware. Compatible devices for this feature include the Galaxy S25 and S24 series, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip models from the sixth and seventh generations.

The company stated that the beta program will continue to roll out to additional devices later this month. Users can register for the program through the Samsung Members application.
