The PlayStation Blog announced that Warhammer Survivors will launch on PlayStation 5 later this year. The post by Peter Boda also revealed new playable characters, weapons and an enemy faction.

New playable characters include Commissar Yarrick, The Legend of Catachan, Marneus Calgar and Knight-Commander Pask, who commands a Leman Russ Tank. The tank is the largest character revealed so far.

New weapons include the Gauntlets of Ultramar, which crush enemies in an arc and fire exploding bolter rounds, and the D6 Dice, a cross-universe weapon that rains bouncing dice that explode based on the rolled number.

The new enemy faction is the Orks from the Warhammer 40,000 universe. It includes various enemy types such as exploding Bomb Squigs and a giant conjured foot. Ghazghkull Thraka serves as an Extremis Boss at the end of stages.

Warhammer Survivors is a roguelite survivors game. Players choose characters from the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes to fight enemy hordes.
