Six Senses to Open Hotel in Beijing

Six Senses announced the signing of a hotel management agreement for Six Senses Beijing on April 9. The property will be located in the Haidian District as part of the Liulangzhuang renewal project.

The hotel is a partnership between Six Senses and the Beijing Zhongguancun Avenue Construction & Development Group. According to the company, the resort will feature 75 guest rooms and suites designed to resemble traditional courtyard homes. Facilities will include a spa, two-story event residence, and a boat pier connecting the lobby to waterside dining pavilions.

The site occupies land formerly used for imperial rice paddies near the Summer Palace. This will be the brand’s second property in Greater China, joining Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain.
