Sony Malaysia announced the expansion of its ULT POWER SOUND series with the release of the ULT TOWER 9AC party speaker on April 8, 2026. The AC-powered speaker became available for purchase on April 6, 2026, with a recommended retail price of RM3,699.

The device includes a dedicated button to toggle between two bass modes. Its hardware configuration consists of four tweeters, two mid-range speakers, and an X-Balanced Speaker Unit. According to the company, the unit features 360-degree party lights and audio output.

Additional features include karaoke and guitar inputs, as well as a TV sound booster function. The speaker can be synchronised with up to 100 compatible models. Sony stated that no plastics were used in the product’s packaging. For a limited time, the early-bird promotion includes a RM300 rebate and a wireless microphone.
