The idea is, as long as there are no solution to the pandemic, people are advised stay away from crowded areas. That means fewer trips to groceries by keeping the pantry and the fridge stocked. And it always helps, especially for a big families, to have a big refrigerator.
So recently Hisense released the 4-door RQ758N4ASV inverter fridge (not car) with the tagline ‘it’s beyond your imagination’. That’s appropriate because this beast has three compartments, a total gross capacity of 750 litres (583 litres if you’re not counting the shelves on the door), and weighs 118.5kg.
The largest of the three compartments is the fridge that can maintains the temperature between 2 to 8-degrees Celsius. The freezer, which is at the bottom left, holds between -14 to -24 degrees Celsius. The third compartment, which is on the bottom right and is labeled as “My Fresh Choice”, can be set to -18 to 5 degrees Celsius, depending on the type of foods you want to keep in there.
Like with many Hisense products, you won’t find any superfluous features here. Each section of the fridge is designed to cool down, fast. Inside the fridge are big door baskets, drawers with metal guided rail, and cantilever shelves. Because what use is all that capacity if you can’t use them efficiently.
Oh, and if the temperature increases because someone left the door open for too long, the door alarm will go off.
Although this fridge is sensible, it is definitely too big for me. Also, if you are looking to store your food long term, think about getting a chest freezer. Those have excellent energy efficiency and Hisense has a selection of them too.
The Hisense 4-Door Inverter Fridge, Model: RQ758N4ASV, is RM5,499.
