OPPO announced that the A98 5G is coming to Malaysia via a pre-order promotion that is running from 15 to 18 May. The device Itself will be released on 19 May.

Before we go to the list of gratuity gifts, let us take a look at the device first.

At the top of the A98 5G features list is a standard 5Ah cell with Oppo’s proprietary fast charging tech. Everything else about the device looks average with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G Mobile Platform, 6.72in 120Hz display, 8GB of RAM, and 256 GB of storage.

It comes in two colours, black and blue, weighs 192g, is 8.2mm thick and is claimed to be durable.

To take pictures, the device has a 64MP camera, 32MP selfie camera, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro camera. All are backed by software enhancements and features.

The Oppo A98 5G retails for RM1,399. Gratuity gifts for preorders include an OPPO Band (phone-connected wearable), “True Wireless Earbuds” (no model was specified), and a 2-year warranty.
