IHG Hotels & Resorts and OzHarvest said they have delivered more than one million meals in Australia through their partnership.

IHG and OzHarvest said they reached the milestone on April 30 in Sydney. The release said the partnership began in 2018 and focused on food rescue, fundraising, volunteering, and support for people in need.

IHG stated that its Stay for Good campaign donates $1 from every room night during the campaign period. The release said other efforts delivered more than 3,000 litres of soup and more than 2,500 kilograms of dry goods.

IHG stated that the partnership also supports OzHarvest’s Nourish program. The release said the program provides hospitality training, life skills, mentoring, and work experience for young people.
