Google said it announced AI updates in April 2026, including Cloud Next releases, Gemma 4, Deep Research Max, and Colab Learn Mode.
Google said Cloud Next ’26 drew more than 32,000 attendees and included more than 260 announcements. Google CEO Sundar Pichai said nearly 75% of Cloud customers already use Google Cloud AI, and 330 organisations processed more than one trillion tokens each in the past year.
Google said it released the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform for building and governing autonomous agents. Google also said it introduced eighth-generation TPUs, Deep Research Max, Gemma 4, and Learn Mode in Colab during April.
Google reported other April updates across its products and services. These included free video generation in Google Vids, higher Google AI Studio limits, TOEIC preparation in Gemini, Translate pronunciation practice on Android, a 10 million USD rural healthcare initiative, and Fitbit health coach updates.
