Audemars Piguet and Swatch said they will release eight Royal Pop pocket watch models on May 16 at selected Swatch stores.

The companies said the Swiss-made collection includes eight Bioceramic models with SISTEM51 manual-wound mechanical movements. They said the watches have more than 90 hours of power reserve, 2 bar water resistance, and sapphire crystals.

The companies said the collection draws on Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak and Swatch POP designs. They said customers can wear the watches with a calfskin lanyard, as a desk watch, or as a pocket watch.

The companies said six models use a Lépine-style layout with the crown at 12 o’clock. They said two models use a Savonnette-style layout with the crown at 3 o’clock and a small seconds subdial.

Swatch said the collection will be available only at selected stores from May 16. It said customers may buy one watch per person, per day, per store.
