Proton e.MAS said more than 20,000 of its vehicles are now on Malaysian roads.

On May 13, PRO-NET said Proton e.MAS recorded 20,509 cumulative registrations year-to-date. It said the total included 10,067 e.MAS 7 units and 8,687 e.MAS 5 units.

PRO-NET said the e.MAS 7 PHEV was Malaysia’s best-selling plug-in hybrid in 2026 year-to-date. It said the model registered 1,755 units and 1,013 units in April 2026.

PRO-NET said the e.MAS 7 PHEV received more than 6,500 bookings after its early February launch. It said April 2026 added 3,421 registrations across the lineup.

PRO-NET said its network now includes 53 dealer operations and 10 body-and-paint centres. It said 3S centres were expanding toward 40 locations.
