National carmaker PROTON partners with Sunway Tiny Toys on June 24, 2026, launching miniature scale models in Subang Jaya for the Cerita Malaysia Kita initiative.

The partnership introduced 1/64 scale models of the new Proton Saga and the Proton e.MAS 5 electric vehicle. The collectables went on sale at the Sunway Tiny Toys outlet in Sunway Lagoon and selected official resellers. The Cerita Malaysia Kita initiative occurred in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2026 to highlight local brands.

The venture followed a previous collaboration with Mattel that produced a Hot Wheels edition of the Proton Saga. PROTON Deputy Chief Executive Officer Abdul Rashid Musa stated the miniature cars represent the memories and progress of the national brand. The manufacturer noted the Saga model set internal combustion engine sales records, while the e.MAS 5 became the first affordable electric vehicle.
