Apple announced its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, featuring two displays, an A20 Pro processor, and a custom vapor chamber on Thursday, September 10.
The device features a 7.6-inch folding inner display and a 5.4-inch outer display. Both displays feature ProMotion, Always On, and 3000 nits peak brightness.
Built with grade 5 titanium and a custom hinge, the hardware includes a 48-megapixel main camera, side-mounted Touch ID, and an eSIM-only structure.
The smartphone runs on iOS 27, which enables split-screen multitasking and redesigned dynamic interfaces adapted for the folding form factor.
Power is supplied by a dual-battery system using the 2-nanometer A20 Pro chip, delivering up to 31 hours of inner-screen video playback.
Pre-orders start October 16 with full availability on October 23. Pricing starts at RM9,499 for the 256GB base model.
