Proton has become the official mobility partner for the 22nd Malaysia International Halal Showcase, providing 20 vehicles for the international media delegation.

The company will deploy 10 Proton X90 units and 10 Proton X70 units for the trade event at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre.

The event runs from September 23 to 26 and is organised by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation.

Proton exported 6,059 units in the first eight months of 2026, exceeding its total 2025 export volume of 6,000 units.

The vehicles provided for the showcase are produced at Proton’s plant in Tanjung Malim.
