Valentino Garavani has unveiled a reimagined Rockstud Spike bag featuring an elongated horizontal silhouette, new materials, and archival motifs, according to a company announcement.

Creative Director Alessandro Michele redesigned the bag for the Valentino Interferenze Fall/Winter 2026-27 collection. The accessory was originally introduced on the Fall/Winter 2016-17 runway.

The updated bag features hand-applied platinum-finish studs, an adjustable chain strap, and a turn-lock closure. It is crafted in goatskin leather or suede in various colours.

One new version in black nappa leather features floral and butterfly embroideries. A second version uses glossy leather in a harlequin-inspired patchwork construction.

The bag will be available in early September 2026 in Valentino boutiques and online. An exclusive teal green suede version will launch online in October 2026.
