11.04 (WEDNESDAY) — Nikon Asia has announced Firmware Version 2.00 for the Nikon ZR camera, incorporating RED colour science into the H.265 video recording format.

The update adds support for RED’s Log3G10 gamma and REDWideGamutRGB colour gamut to compact H.265 video recording.

It introduces four High ISO Noise Reduction settings for H.265 and ProRes422HQ formats alongside customizable command dial controls.

Additional features include focus peaking with applied 3D LUTs during R3D NE RAW recording and suppressed frame-by-frame black-level flicker in shadows.
