Marriott International announced an agreement to open a Luxury Collection resort at Lake Tegernsee in Germany in 2029.
Marriott said the project is named Seegut am Tegernsee, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa. Marriott said the resort is planned across 25 buildings with 119 rooms, apartments and villas.
Marriott stated the resort includes a 3,500-square-meter spa, 19 treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness club, a kids club and a yoga pavilion. Marriott said the project also includes event space and several dining venues.
Marriott reported the resort is less than an hour from Munich. Marriott said the project includes a lake-water heat pump system and a rooftop solar PV system.
