The National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia and UNIMAS Health Centre hold state-level World Kidney Day 2026 events in Sarawak, including a 5-km charity run.

NKF said the event took place in Kota Samarahan on May 11. NKF said about 250 students, staff and public participants joined the run.

NKF said the event also included health screenings, organ transplant exhibition booths and lucky draw sessions. NKF said the programme followed national-level World Kidney Day 2026 celebrations in Klang Valley.
