McDonald’s Malaysia Marks 10 Years of Teachers’ Day Campaign

McDonald’s Malaysia says it is running a nationwide Teachers’ Day campaign through more than 300 restaurants.

The company said the campaign could reach hundreds of schools and thousands of educators. It said the effort began in Penang earlier in May and is now expanding nationwide.

McDonald’s Malaysia said the campaign will culminate in an event at the McDonald’s Titiwangsa Drive-Thru. It said it will also give cash contributions for staffroom refurbishment and upgrades.

Managing Director and Local Operating Partner Dato’ Haji Azmir Jaafar said the campaign has run for 10 years. The company said the initiative began in 2017 under Program Komuniti @ McDonald’s.
