Dell Unveils Lighter, Thinner XPS 13 Laptop

Dell Technologies announced a new XPS 13 laptop, described as its thinnest and lightest XPS model, targeting students and young professionals, following a commitment made at CES.

Dell said the new XPS 13 weighed 1kg and measured 12.75mm thick, featuring an InfinityEdge display in a compact chassis built to the same standard as previous XPS models.

The company stated every configuration included a 2.5K LCD touch display, touchpas, backlit keyboard, and Intel Wi-Fi 7, with options to upgrade to Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

Dell said the display covered 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and used variable refresh rate technology from 30Hz to 120Hz, supporting up to 17 hours of streaming.

According to Dell, the XPS 13 used Intel Core Series 3 or Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory, with a dual-fan thermal architecture. The CNC aluminium chassis came in Sky and Storm finishes.

Dell stated that availability and pricing details for the XPS 13 would be communicated later.
