Pos Malaysia launches its Parrots of Malaysia Special Stamp Collection across 90 philatelic bureaus nationwide on May 31, 2026, to highlight protected native bird species.

The company developed the commemorative issue in collaboration with the Department of Wildlife and National Parks. The release features three protected native parrot species: the Long-tailed Parakeet, the Blue-rumped Parrot, and the Blue-crowned Hanging Parrot.

The complete folder set costs RM66.30. It contains two stamp designs valued at RM1.00 and RM1.30, miniature sheets, first day covers, and an exclusive folder. The miniature sheet features die-cut printing that mirrors the natural silhouette of the birds.

Pos Malaysia also collaborated with selected bird parks to hold first-day sales with special commemorative cancellations. These locations include the KL Bird Park, Penang Bird Park, and Langkawi Wildlife Park. Visitors at these venues receive specific entry ticket discounts upon making purchases at the temporary postal counters.
